Family caregivers are a special breed. You know who you are; you might have children still living at home, most likely you have a full-time job, you might have siblings living out of state and of course, they want to know what is going on with mom and dad.
However, you're the one that has to look after mother or dad. It is not normal that you used for this task, it only appeared one morning on your doorstep and if you looked about to find out who could assist there was no one there.
I understand how simple it's to get a pity party but we are here to assist and therefore it's time to check at various other methods of tackling the circumstance.
1. When other relatives, friends or acquaintances provide to assist; take them on it. Do not be a martyr and say, I will do it. However, have something special they can do to lighten your heaps, such as grocery shopping or cleaning.
2. Seek advice from other health professionals. There are loads of tools on the web for family caregivers Job. Do a Google search for information for health professionals, hints for family caregivers, health care support, etc.

3. Caregiving is a project and you will need time off. It does not do anybody any good if you're always short-tempered and grouchy. Have a long weekend and then go play today and then to recharge your batteries. Many healthcare agencies will provide health care for respite care.
