This article provide you information on how to setup Netgear Extender EX7300 using the web GUI. Follow the steps given below:
- Plug the Netgear extender EX3700 into electrical outlet.
- Wait until the power LED turns to light green. If you did not notice any light on your Netgear extender then press the power on/off button on the extender.
- Connect your computer or laptop to the extender through wifi or LAN cable.
- To connect with LAN cable use a LAN cable to connect the LAN port on the extender to an LAN port your computer or laptop.
- To connect with wifi, open the wifi connection manager and connect to the extender network named NETGEAR_EXT.
- Open a web browser and type www mywifiext net in the address bar of your web browser and press enter.
- The new extender setup page displays.
- Click on the new extender setup button.
- Complete the fields on the Netgear setup page and click on the NEXT button.
- Make sure that the extender switch is set to extender and click on continue button.
- Select the network that you want to extend and click on the next button.
- In the password field type the router existing wifi network password and click on next button.
- Connect your computer or laptop to the new extender WiFi network using the extender SSID and password.
- Make sure your device is connected to the extender network.
- Click the CONTINUE button.
- A message displays confirming you’re your Netgear extender is connected and ready.
- Click the NEXT button.
- The registration page displays.
- Complete the registration fields.
- Click the FINISH button to complete the setup.
